On this episode of The 69 Minute Eargasm with Joel Gertner, the Quintessential Studmuffin welcomes Sabu and Super Genie to the show. Listen in as Sabu recounts the tail of training to become a professional wrestler under his uncle, The Original Sheik.

Breaking into the pro wrestling business alongside Rob Van Dam (RVD) through the Memphis territory (under Jerry Jarrett and Jerry 'The King' Lawler), finding his way to Japan to wrestle for FMW and ultimately making his mark in the United States with Paul Heyman in ECW. 

Sabu then tells us of his journey through ECW where he would find himself in a tough bargaining position with Eric Bischoff, then through WWE where Sabu was at odds with his producer, Dean Malenko.

Now Sabu works the indies where possible and enjoys the occasional stop in Impact Wrestling (formerly TNA).

From working against the likes of Abdullah the Butcher under Carlos Colon to tagging with Jacques Rougeau as the Quebecers and eventually finding himself at odds with Shawn Michaels and The Kliq (Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman and company), the former ROH World Champion and Villain Enterprise member goes into a deep dive with Joel Gertner on the first half of his career.
