Word of the Week: CONNECT! Now that we've all gone through the stages of grief (to a greater or lesser degree), because that is what we are feeling is grief, we can talk about our expectations. We have lost our way of life. It hasn't just been turned upside down, it's changed for good. It wont stay this way, but even when the quarantine is lifted we won't be going back to the way things we did a few weeks ago. So we are dealing with the fact that our old way of living is over. It's dead. And we must grieve whether we want to or not. These are the stages to grieving: SHOCK & DENIAL PAIN & GUILT ANGER & BARGAINING "DEPRESSION", REFLECTION, LONELINESS THE UPWARD TURN RECONSTRUCTION & WORKING THROUGH ACCEPTANCE & HOPE If you look back at how you've reacted to this over that past few weeks you'll see that you've had some if not all the negative emotions. We doubt anyone is at the point where we feel optimistic and hopeful and ready to start accepting and adapting. But of course that's where we want to be because until then we can't move forward and get back to living it. And it's ok. That's what this show is about this week. Our expectations at this point.
