A "Crossdresser" in Chicago: James Clay Jr.

Police brutality against the queer community has often gone ignored and unreported. James Clay Jr. was a black man who identified a crossdresser, and was targeted by police largely because of his bold queerness, as well as fact that he was a sex worker. One night he was hunted down and brutally murdered by two police officers he had encountered earlier the same evening.
